EB5-like Program in France

I just came back from Paris where I had a meeting with a law firm that is involved with developing EB5-like program in France.  The program, even though still very raw, is in place, and among the requirements are two that are hard to overlook: potential immigrant to France is expected to invest 10 MLN Euro and create 50 full-time jobs!   Considering that 1 euro is almost 1.5 dollars, it is an challenging thresh hold!  France joins Switzerland and UK in creating this immigration avenue and making it a difficult goal to achieve.   US EB5 option seems like a true bargain - and it is still US!   Why not take advantage of it?
